The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)is an independent unit located inside and funded by the United States Federal Reserve, with interim affiliation with the U.S. Treasury Department. Because Congress created the CFPB as part of the Dodd-Frank financial reforms of 2010, the whole law – or, at least the provisions authorizing the consumer protection bureau – must be struck down or the entire CFPB needs to be dismantled.
While their at it, get rid of the Fed. Won’t happen though, the breeders of the swamp creatures will never let that happen.
