I just don’t understand it. I have 800 work emails in 3 years and I think I use email a lot. How on earth can you have 10,000 and up to 600,000 (Clinton I think) and still actually work?

If these messages were sent on government time using government equipment, they are government property and should all be turned over to congress for their determination on relevance. I hope Judicial Watch has already submitted their Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) request and have moved for a protective order to prohibit destruction. It would seem that if there are 10,000 messages and only 2,000 are turned over to Congress, that is a tacit admission that there is no reason to withhold or redact the remaining 8,000 from release under any FOAI request. Also, there would be no grounds to delay FOAI release as they would all already have been assembled and reviewed.
