"I doubt the Dems will nominate a white male, no matter how kooky, to be their presidential nominee."

"It’s going to be Kamala Harris and Julian Castro."

After the ugliest Dem primary in history, Biden will be forced to take Karamela as VP, and they will lose in a historical blowout.

I doubt it. Too many skeletons in his closet and there might be some recent corpses in there according to news accounts.

To be ROUNDLY defeated by Donald Trump, and his running mate in 2020:

Dwayne Johnson.

Not an entirely new idea as a candidate, he talked about it, and it was discussed pretty extensively earlier this year, but I’ll go out of this limb early, and predict he ends up Trump’s running mate, for the next election, now.

:D

And Faux-cohantas, too. What a ticket they would have made. Beaver Mouth and Gray Beaver in ‘20.

They think that eating their own will lead to impeaching Trump - wonder how many of their own are willing to fall on their swords for “the greater good”.....

All of these dummiecrats coming out and wanting Franken to resign, is a setup for when Judge Moore wins his seat. The pubbies will do the same to Moore! Based on forty year old (questionable) allegations! Unlike photo proof they have on Franken.

With Tony Abedin’s fall from grace, the “Wiener-Holder” ticket went out the window, so why not “Franken-Stein”? ;-P

That’s true too, Noob. I think he’ll resign versus more scandals revealed.

“If all it takes is “J’accuse!” to get rid of a guy, then freedom is truly in danger.”

Well said. The idea that a man’s career can be ruined by a handful of women making vague and unsubstantiated accusations is problematic. This kind of smear campaign has become too easy to prosecute and too difficult to defend against.

I don’t care what happens to Al Franken but how will GOOD men justify entering into a life of civil service when there is such a high likelihood that they will face this.

I’ve wondered the same thing about male high school teachers too. Why would any sane male make that career choice when it’s almost guaranteed that eventually some maladjusted teenage girl will accuse him of sexual misconduct or leering or whatever? I know some male teachers and if this hasn’t happened, it’s like waiting for lightening to strike.

And even when there’s proof, like the picture of Franken groping the sleeping women - it’s sleazy behavior but how much of a crime is it? People need to get thicker skins.

Career ending disclosures should not only be better substantiated, they ought to be more serious offenses. There is real child abuse, there are real rapes, there is real sexual blackmail where victims feel they have to perform sex to keep their job or avoid some other consequence. These are real crimes.

But locker room talk? Unsoliceted shoulder rub or pat on the but cheek? Suggestive language or dirty jokes? Sleazy perhaps, but is it enough to ruin someone’s career? Women better lighten up and save their amo for when there is a real offense.

JMHO.

The Dems are forcing the resignations of Franken and Conyers hoping to shame the Republicans into abandoning Moore before the election. But they have nothing to lose because both Franken and Conyers will be replaced by Dems.

That is the short term goal. The long term goal is to get Trump to resign.

If MN had a Republican governor, Franken would definitely not be considering resignation. Nor would the intra-party opponents have said a word.

Judge Moore for the Senate!

I do not believe he will.
A whole lot of dead people voted for him and he ain’t leaving quietly.
He has proven to be quite defiant.

He’s certainly laying the ground....saying he’s resigning in the next few weeks, and you can tell this speech was written by the DNC/Soros.....as he refers to Trump being recorded on tape saying things on tape can sit in the oval office, or another man who....young girls...can campaign for the Senate.

Thank you both for the clarification. I had only seen the picture and the earlier stories. I did not read or hear anything that the photo was not as it seemed. If so I apologize to Franken. Are we sure he didn’t do similar without a photo? Because if he did not sexually assault a woman then why is he resigning?
