WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Al Franken will resign from the U.S. Senate on Thursday, Minnesota Public Radio reported, after more than half of his Senate Democratic colleagues urged him to do so in light of sexual misconduct accusations.

There’s only one reason why Franken had to go.
Too many photos of him in, uh, compromising positions. Way too much ad fodder.
No photos, no resignation.

He fondled the breasts of a woman while she slept, and had a friend take a picture of it. How is that not sexual assault? The media is taking this too lightly.
Maybe some benefit of the doubt over his “butt touching” during campaign photos is due. But grabbing at a sleeping woman? Creepy as hell, dude. He doesn’t belong in the Senate.
I’m pretty sure he said he didn’t do anything wrong. lol

I think he has an entertainer’s “the show must go on” attitude.
But the Dems will straighten him out.
Maybe he can go back to SNL. No one is watching it anymore.
Why?
I'm not an expert on Minnesota politics, but I'd guess that Coleman is one of the few Republicans who could win a statewide race for senator there. And he'd sure beat the heck out of any Dim who might wind up in the seat.
With some luck, the Democrat Minnesota governor will appoint that crazy Muslim Communist to serve until November (we should be so lucky!)

That’s exactly it. Furthermore, notice how the media has buried the fact Menendez had sex with underage prostitutes. That’s mostly because Chris Christie would pick his replacement and is still in office until January 16.
The left doesn’t do ANYTHING that doesn’t maximize their political power. They waited to unload in Moore until the only real possible alternative to him is Democrat.
