There is no "positive" with the gospel of Jesus. That is a modern, worldly qualifier. The gospel begins with sin and hopelessness. Unless you get to that part first, there is no rest of it.

Is it merely being forgiven and no more that sent martyrs to willing deaths? Tell them there is nothing positive about the gospel and they will laugh at you even as they die.
