Yeah, his lead-up sounded like he was going to “await the outcome of the ethics investigation and comply with their recommendation” because he didn’t do anything wrong - then abruptly declares he’s resigning, and says so without apologizing for anything worth resigning over.
Methinks he’s been paid off to take the fall to prepare a push to oust Trump.
We’ll see. It was certainly a nasty resignation - in keeping with his awful personality.
Sick guy. Glad to see him gone; it’s still better for America that he’s out.
