Yep. For me it just kind of ran its course. I used to be pre-trib, btw. I’m now “mid-trib”, AKA “post-trib, pre-wrath.”
I believe the first 3.5 years is the great tribulation against the saints and the reign of the best and then the rapture, (Rev 7) and then the 3.5 years of “wrath of god”.
But I’m not married to it. ;)
No, no, no. Read your Scriptures more carefully. Read Revelation 3:10, Romans 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9. WHAT do each of those have in common and say almost exactly the same thing: “I will also keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth.” Who is that? It IS NOT the Church. It is those left on the earth after the Harpazo has occurred. Romans 5:9 “. . . we shall be saved FROM THE WRATH OF GOD THROUGH HIM!!!” Him who? Jesus Christ. 1 Thess 1:10: “. . . that is Jesus, who RESCUES US FROM THE WRATH TO COME.” And 1 Thess 5:9: “God HAS NOT DESTINED US FOR WRATH . . .” I know there are those out there that say the Church of Jesus Christ, the Bride of Christ has to be “purified” (yuk - He did it all on the Cross, so WHY do men think that WE have to do something else. He DID IT ALL, so we need to but out.) The Scriptures are CLEAR. We are NOT destined to see the wrath of God. God’s wrath IS the coming Tribulation. Scripture clearly shows this. I stand with the Scriptures, REGARDLESS of those here who have jumped down my throat 100 times trying to give me 45 reasons using part here and part there of various scriptures. These I have mentioned above are enough. They are clear. They are pure. They say we do not see wrath of God, so I hang on that. He will take me home before He destroys the ungodly of this world. WOULD you want to be a bride, be beaten up for 3 1/2 or 7 years, THEN married to someone???? I don’t think so. Nope. I am solid as the Rock that He stands on, I am pre-trib. I promise to waive bye-bye as I go up to all those who want to stay here and THINK they must do something to be purified by some fire. Nope, I stand on what He said on the Cross on a Hill called Calvary. His last words to us: “IT IS FINISHED!!!” He did it all.
