Someone sexually assaults you at 16 yo so you have/let him sign your yearbook a year or two later? (yearbooks come out in 12th grade don’t they? 17-18 yo then)
Even the basic premise doesn’t make sense.
If that had really happened, being a teen girl, she would have scribbled over his sig.
If he did sign it and she kept it intact and even ‘added notes’. That means whatever happened(like a kiss) was consensual. If it wasn’t consensual, her ‘note’ would have said ‘bastard’ or something similar.
So what's missing is...his doesn't say Beverly...and the message says he doesn't know her except by looking at her.
My guess....there was some kind of party....maybe at the school....and she was an autograph seeker. Autographs were a big thing for many years...and still are.
Back in the 70s we purchased a yearbook every year...its called a yearbook for a reason.
