It is something you can read through the years and hear other songs in different seasons.
I always thought it was "take her out for a mil," meaning a million.

That was the days, though, where all my friends were into stuff like Cream and FogHat, while I was just getting over my Herb Alpert days.

The Dion ones are slightly annoying, but Lightning Strikes is just Eww all the way through.

Well, probably none because he was Jewish. The story goes that he just wanted to write a rock song inspired by Christian gospel music, even though he wasn’t actually a Christian.
That was the year that Jesus Christ became a “Superstar”, so people were jumping on the bandwagon.
