In their infinite wisdom, the founders of our country created a structure called the "Electoral College" as a control system and to ensure the individual states were fairly represented. Otherwise one or two densely populated areas would speak for the whole of the nation. It was not created as a device to favor Democrats, Republicans, Whigs, Tories or any other political affiliation. It was created as a system of "checks and balances" to guard against any small vocal area, with a specific agenda, speaking for the whole of the nation.
The following list of statistics should put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense.
There are 3,141 counties in the United States.
Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.
There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.
Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes. No where near the 10 million Gloria claims!!!
In the 5 counties that encompass NYC (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump.
In other words, these Five (5) counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote for the entire country !
These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.
When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.
Large, densely populated cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) do not and should not speak for the rest of our country...and somehow the geniuses who founded our country understood this and created a system to avoid that circumstance.
And now you understand the supreme importance of the Electoral College.

I live in Minnesota where the voter fraud is rampant which our state judicial system encourages as does the motor voter law.
Minnesota is a pretty small state total-voter-wise. If someone told me there were 10,000,000 bogus voters nationwide, I would say that sounds conservative.
Here's something every pollster can agree on: The dead vote Democrat 100% of the time i.e. Democrats lead Republicans among the dead by a 100% to 0% margin with a 0% margin for error.
Gloria must be claiming clinton won by 10,000,000 votes. clinton has claimed this in a back handed way a time or two. Everyone knows when someone who claims victory in a race no one was running she was routed in the race she was running.

Was that 10 million illegal alien votes, 10 million double votes, ten million votes found in Minnesota democrat car trunks, 10 million dead folks votes, or was it simply votes “counted” by Chicago public school grads who took Common Core crap?

So yes, President Trump was duly elected. By more states than those that wanted Clinton (who were mostly high population areas along the coasts).
Why not just count the votes of foreigners from all over the world, not just the ones who happen to live here and vote illegally? Why not also count the votes of Kenyans who live in Kenya and Mexicans who live in Mexico? Isn’t that fair?

It wasn’t anywhere near “10 million” votes.
Between millions of illegal aliens voting.....the British-made voting machines manufactured by a company owned by Soros, the machines that flipped Trump votes to Clinton when a down-line GOP ticket was chosen....multiple votes by moonbats voting in the names of celebrities and deceased people, etc etc., I believe it was a stolen “popular” vote.
In an honest election, Trump would have carried additional states and would have had the popular vote.
Trump won just about every county in the country. So he didn’t win the heavily populated blue cities. Big deal. Real state Americans don’t care.
They enemy was so sure of their victory in 2016 that they were negligent. They didn't go the last mile to secure crucial states. Of course they did gin up fraudulent votes, but half-heartedly at best. They were overconfident.
Don't think for a minute that if the election were held today, and not a vote were changed, that the Dems wouldn't win. They would generate the ballots needed to push Hillary over the top in the critical states. Even if no one who voted changed his vote in a do-over, Hillary would win on fraud alone.
Bottom line: the Left was caught with their pants down last time. It won't happen again.
Victory for President Trump in 2020 has to be gained the old fashioned way. Earn it. The economy, jobs, taxes, borders, language, culture. President Trump is doing a good job, but he has to keep it up, and beware of the Deep State which still exists within his own administration and federal departments.
For example, there is Kirstjen Nielsen, a DACA and open borders cheerleader, who is President Trump's pick for head of DHS. The devil is in the details, and these slip-ups could come back to haunt President Trump.
