Exactly. And the sharks need something to eat.

How about sending them back wherever they came from via US military cargo planes and drop them out the back like baggage.
To: vannrox
That’s a lot of time, effort and fuel spent just to find out what should have been revealed during a few phone calls or emails.

How can there be a snag? Youre on the tarmac. Open the door and letem out. They were only in Senegal at the point where they stopped the trip. That's only roughly half way to Somalia in terms of distance, assuming they originated on the east coast of the US. They still had over 4,000 miles to go to get to Somalia.

Throw ‘em a parachute and give ‘em the ole heave-ho over Somalia. They’ll be responsible from that point on.

They had pilots to bring them all the way back, but not finish the trip?

Use large, amphibious ships. Let them out on the coasts of their homelands. Repeat.

At first I thought that, too. Open the door and dump them in the ocean. But that’s a little harsh. They should have opened the door on taxiway, dumped them on the tarmac, and quickly taken off. That would be much more humane.

Aw,.. they cheated !
They used parachutes
To: vannrox
I'd say it was bad planning. Check the map! Senegal is probably further (over 4,000 miles) from Somalia than any other place in Africa. Should have put them on a plane that can go directly to Somalia or with a refueling stop at a US military base en route.

They didn’t get enough rest? But they flew all the way back?
Make it a C-5 flight next time. Plenty of room to bunk out.

It is reprehensible that the American taxpayer is forced to foot the bill for these extravagant flights.
These criminal savages should be made to swim home.
