I think “we” are better off with Franken than an unknown replacement in the Senate, now that his reputation is crap and he’ll never live down that photo.

But GIngrich should have talked about the lack of consistent standards for what constitutes sexual harassment if he wanted to make a valid point. Is what Franken is accused of the same as what Poppy Bush admitted to having done? It’s all over the map and yet no one has the ability to face their accuser(s), or even know that others receive equal treatment. There’s a couple of constitutional issues for ya to chew on.

No wonder President Trump has kept his distance from Gingrich.

What I found irksome about the sudden avalanche of Dem senators coming after Franken to demand his resignation was what, or rather who, tipped the scale. The first six women didn’t matter to them. It wasn’t good but it didn’t create the lynch mob frenzy Newt mentioned. He was all set to survive LeeAnn and the others.

It took ONE OF THEM!!! It took a writer for Media Matters. Had she not stepped forward and written of HER experience with Franken, he’d have skated as everyone thought he had by midweek before that revelation. So, again, it’s who is making the charge.

I agree with Newt to an extent—some of this is hysteria, kind of like the Salem witch trials.

But it is delicious in the unintended consequence that has come into play: the “war on women” ruse was only supposed to work against Republicans. But now its the Dims that are overwhelmingly being bitten in the posterior.

Time to feast on schadenfreude.

Yet another reason why Trump was wise to not include the Newtster in his administration.

Right message, wrong recipient.

If all it takes is accusation(s) to end years of effort to get somewhere, why would you bother?

Franken is a horrendous weasel. He went to the Senate floor and made no apologies, said some allegations were false and on others he has a “different memory” of what happened. He never tells us which allegations are false or what his “different memories” are or mean. He mentioned no instance in which he was at fault. He didn’t resign. There are photos of him groping two women that I have seen and both women say the actions were not consensual.

Moore denies all the charges , and says he’s suing all the accusers.

Newt is trying to pull the fuse from the bomb the Dems are planning on dropping on Trump.

A perfect illustration of why Newt was not hired by Trump and should not have been. Loose cannon is putting it mildly.

It’s extreme cosmic justice that a revolting pig who CHEATED his way into the senate is driven out in DISGRACE, arguably with no due process.

Dear Al: You’re a creepy disgusting perverted pig. I’m drinking a large mug of schadenfreude and laughing at you. May the rest of your life be miserable and filled with bitterness and sorrow.
