The house committee doesn’t seem to have any “bite”, just bark. I hope they can shine enough light on things to get a special prosecutor to file charges to these POS’s. I have little confidence in sleepy doing anything.
The House should be able to refer “matters” to the DOJ for furthur[sic] investigation / prosecution.

The House Committee is not a prosecutorial body, no matter how much congressmen like to present themselves all big and bad.
This is the job of the DOJ, more exactly, it’s Donald John Trump’s job, and if combinations too powerful to be suppressed by ordinary judicial proceedings have arisen in the capital (as appears increasingly likely) then he should declare martial law and use his authority to round up, try, and execute the traitors.
