Got an email this morning from gab.ai talking about a twitter exodus Dec 18th due to these new rules. Tracking it's users internet activity outside of twitter.

https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/twitter-rules

"""You also may not affiliate with organizations that — whether by their own statements or activity both on and off the platform — use or promote violence against civilians to further their causes. We will begin enforcing this rule around affiliation with such organizations on December 18, 2017."""

I predict some will be more equal than others.

Here's an article on Mashable titled; Twitter to neo-Nazis: you have until December 18

Doesn’t this rise to the level of illegal and warrantless searches?

This is sort of like gun control laws. Decent people will get kicked off for talking about Islamofascist groups, and the bad guys will communicate by hiding under code names, and outright false ID s

Tracking its users internet activity outside of twitter.

Web trackers like this are pretty easy to block; but most internet users don't bother and just leave themselves wide open.

Twitter update to its policy: "You also may not affiliate with organizations that - whether by their own statements or activity both on and off the platform - use or promote violence against civilians to further their causes".

But, I guess violence is OK if it's directed toward military people or the police.

Switching topics to youtube.

All the trash posts with click bait headlines that show ordinary videos of news briefs, interviews or hearings that don’t even remotely match the headline. Starting to make me cross.

I mainly see conservative ones, simply because that’s where my interests are. Like the current versions of Tucker Carlson, Fox Five, Laura Ingraham’s the Angle.

I’ve been tempted to a few of those videos much to my dissapointment. The only thing I can think is, My God people, we don’t need stuff like this, we have the Democrats dead to rights on the Russia story among others.

Twitter can do whatever they want (for the most part). It’s a business. You don’t like it, don’t go on Twitter. The story says it will track its “users” on and off line. People aren’t really this silly, are they?

The big corporate think-tank interests are ALL keeping tabs on private citizens and building database records as to their preferences, travel habits, associates, history, and more EVEN IF YOU DON’T USE THEIR SERVICES.

Private policing making records (for political purposes because we know that is what drives this) taking things farther than State enforcers ever could (think J Edgar Hoover’s files).

Dems said that Obama and the Democrats were building a database about every voter.

Related: I created a twitter account about a month ago and posted to and about Conservative threads. I was susupended6 times over the first three weeks and was constantly appealing their decisions and the re-instated each time. I would always get the same excuse: “We have an automated program that sometimes results in a technical glitch. We apologize for this inconvenience.”

It is very difficult to get a live person at Twitter but I was finally able to get someone to look at what was happening and I have not been suspended for over a week now.
