Thank you for interrupting so many crass comments with a bit of godly wisdom.

The Word teaches us that we should look to him when we despair and He'll do something great. The example which comes to mind is Samson who totally screwed up and knew it, made into a laughing stock, blinded, forsaken, and forlorn. Then, by God's grace, his hair began to grow again, his strength returned, and he prayed to the Lord. As his life ended, he destroyed a great many Philistines. And for that, honorable mention is made of him in the New Testament book of Hebrews.

Samson did not commit suicide although he was in a place of utter despair. Taking the path of suicide is a path that is totally lacking in faith.
