And ugly. And fat. She should have been grateful that anyone paid attention to her!

This one almost certainly won’t resign — because unlike Franken or Conyers, a Republican just might get elected to replace the scumbag (who just won this seat a year ago during the massive Nevada Democrat vote fraud sweep).

there was a Freeper who recently declared he made sure to compliment all the women at work, and made sure he included the “older,& uglier ones” so they would not be left out.
Bless his heart! I am not a Southern woman, so did I use that correctly?

“Really. You’d think that these hotshots in high places would’ve watched an episode or two of Law & Order, or some Investigation Discovery episodes.”

You’re right about that, they most likely do watch but for demacraps Law & Order is fantasy not at all applicable to them; they are exempt from such non-sense. L&O is for thee not for me, a must attitude if one wants to be an acceptable democrap socialist bureaucrat. It may be their communist superiority complex is catching up to them...maybe.

The only way to protect yourself is never to hire a woman.

I wonder if we will begin to see an emphasis on gender specific hiring now.

Yes, it had just the right tone!

Hard to say. The narrative is in flux right now. As I understand it, on one hand, people are saying all the accusations are false, while on the other hand, they’re saying that every man does this and there’s nothing wrong with it. Perhaps a consistent line will shake out, eventually.

You have to feel bad for these Democrats.

For decades womanizers like JFK, LBJ, more Kennedys, and then of course Bill Clinton could do whatever they wanted without consequences.

That that was their “school” on these matters.

Now the party has decided such behavior is no longer acceptable.

Oops!

Good one. I AGREE. I guess some employers need seminars to tell them not to talk to employees about their underwear.

I wonder if it is less the party has decide or that certain “female” power blocs within the party see this as a way to forcefully assume power in their party.

Is this a type of “coup” occurring in the Democratic party?

Worked at a place where they hired beautiful secretaries at first, but the men were always flirting, taking long lunches and not getting their work done. The owner then started hiring secretaries by the pound and all of that stopped.

A lot of people seem to believe asking employees about their underwear or suggesting they bear your children is normal workplace behavior.

Disgraced former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit and his female Chief of Staff had a long term affair with plenty of salacious text messages.

As I recall, he fired a cop who was investigating some wrongdoing my the mayor. The cop sued and the mayor and COS perjured themselves in court about the affair. The texts were released and both ended up convicted. That started a Federal investigation into other corruption. Kwame is doing long hard time for it. 40 years I think. When you’re a public figure, nothing is private. Nothing.

When Kilpatrick came in, he was charismatic and seemed smart and likeable, with the potential to possibly do some good in Detroit. Unlike his apparent mentor, Coleman A. Young, who was amazingly good at being corrupt, Kilpatrick was amazingly bad at being corrupt.

I started working full time at age 17 & am now 78, and still have 2 bookkeeping clients.

I NEVER have been asked any questions or heard ANY statements like the ones being told about in this time of my life. I know I am not that attractive at age 78, and I wasn’t a Playboy Bunny when I was younger-—but I was average & I always dressed appropriately for the job I had. I wore dresses/skirts/high heels when I was in offices & I wore jeans & sweatshirts when I was selling auto parts.

Maybe it is because I never worked for anyone who was a POLITICIAN ???

That could be it.

I never had any of this stuff happen when I was employed, either ... but I've been a stay-at-home mother for over 20 years now. I've never had anyone act inappropriately in my volunteer work, either.
