Democrats should go after Ted Cruz.
"The Week" ^ | 12.14.2017 | Ryan Cooper

Democrats' shocking victory in the Alabama Senate special election undoubtedly has raised their potential list of seats they might win. If they can win in the Deep South, they can win anywhere.

High on the list of reach targets is Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who is up for re-election in 2018. Hillary Clinton did quite well in Texas, only losing by 9 points (better than she did in Iowa) — as compared to nearly 28 points in Alabama. What's more, Democrats have a solid candidate in the form of Rep. Beto O'Rourke from El Paso.

Is Cruz vulnerable in Texas? Dimwads must think so.

The Eye of Sauron that hurt Moore does not work so well when there are over 400 elections at the same time.

Can’t stand Cruz, but may have to hold my nose. I hope they waste a ton of money.

Democrats congratulate themselves after smearing a good man for a month and engaging in all kinds of chicanery.

They think they won fair and square on issues.

Cruz is just a snake oil salesman. With apologies to snake oil salesmen.

It night work — just bribe some floozies to gin up fake “harassment” charges and voila! political career over!

Rush was right: the left has weaponized harassment charges. But it cuts both ways.

Next up: Men accusing women politicians of sexual harassment (I think I heard one story already).

The Rats will make sure that anyone that’s sacrificed won’t hurt them, as with Al Franken.

Cruz is quite capable of blowing an election that is his to lose. He does not bear close scrutiny well at all. The “creepy” brush will be applied and he’ll actually fare worse than Roy Moore, IMHO.

Cruz’s opponent is the thing on the left (naturally)

As bad a candidate as Moore was he still would have won had the GOPe not campaigned against him vigorously. Cruz won’t have that issue to deal with.

Alabamans picked a toxic pedo candidate who even still only narrowly lost. Liberals’ delusional bravado could work in our favor if they redirect enough money from vulnerable seats to go after places like Texas.

Someone posted this on FR

Total AL turnout was 776,667 LESS than the Presidential Election

Total # of votes was only 25,450 over Trump's totals

Hillary beat Jones by 58,396 votes

Therefore all Hillary voters didn't even show up to vote for Jones

Trump beat Moore by 667,819 votes

What they're really talking about is paying a half dozen or so women to make sexual harassment claims against Cruz. That's one of their newest political weapons.

Soros and company outspent Moore by a margin of over 14 to 1.
The Republican establishment condemned Moore and disavowed him.
The Senior Senator from Alabama disavowed Moore.
The MSM beat on Moore mercilessly with trumped up charges of sexual misconduct from 40 years ago.
Evangelicals, instead of not listening to the MSM and voting for Moore stayed home.
The write in candidate received almost 2% of the vote.

And despite all of this, Doug Jones still couldn’t break 50%.
