And they’ll find some weird tax to pay for it.

“Noway Cali is paying for all this socialism on their own”

Yeah, we are.

And it sucks to the ends of the earth.

Have you been here?

It’s likely that if you doubled your income and lived in the northern 1/2 of the state you’d like it quite a bit.

LA is a whole nuther level of hell however.

>>...flush with cash from an expanding economy,... <<

How about putting it towards the 150 billion pension debt?

I’ve been to CA lots of times, have relatives living in Lompoc. If I doubled my income I could afford one of those plastic tool sheds Home Depot sells. To live comfortably in CA you’d have to make over a hundred G after taxes; but only if you drive a ten YO car and live in a twenty yo duplex. The northern 1/2 is like OR which is like WA where I live so I wouldn’t want to. CA has too repressive a regime to want to live there.

I can’t even imagine being a taxpayer residing in California.

Well I am one and I'm getting the hell out. I've long predicted that Jerry Brown and his Leftist cohort decided CA would be the first Communist state. I don't pretend to know what the end game will be. Most folks I talk to think things are just fine. I suspect they think someone else is going to pay for all their goodies.
