You are waaaaaay off. My mom had a brain tumor and once she was hospitalized she was gone in less than a month.

Depends on the type and location. Some tumors grow faster than others, or affect more vital areas. IIRC, his tumor is in an area that controls judgment, and moral decision - making. I think that sort usually ends up eventuality causing destruction of blood vessels, which then leads to a brain hemorrhage, which causes death.or, it grows enough that it puts pressure on a blood vessel and causes a clot to form, which can also cause death. But I’m a nurse, not a doctor. If I’m wrong, I’m happy to be corrected.

I’m sorry for your loss.

My cousin on Long Island...her husband died from a recurrence of a brain tumor in June, 2001. He was only is his late 40’s.

Then in September, 2001, my cousin’s best friend from high school lost her brother in the attack on the World Trade Center in NYC.

It was a rough year for my cousin.
