The initiative has eliminated $570 million a year in regulatory costs, Rao said.

Throw in Husseincare and it's a deal.

President Donald Trump vowed Thursday to scale back the scope of federal regulations to the level it stood in 1960,

A good first step toward common-sense regulatory control ...

Q: Can President Trump slow down a little while we catch our breath?

A: Oh, I hope not!

Something to remember is that we are fighting a holding action at this point, nothing more. The US will become like Europe sooner rather than later. The next president will undo all of Trump’s work, so Trump needs to do enough carving and slashing and deregulation so that it will take time to restore it, thus extending our freedom a little longer.

Has anyone else noticed that all online media has gotten rid of reader comment feature?

The Demonrats must have figured that letting the little people comment on their lies was wising too many up?

Truman and Eisenhower were big regulators

scale back the scope of federal regulations to the level it stood in 1960

You will have to burn down a lot of buildings and bleachbit a lot of computers to do that. And you will have to fight the 5,000,000 strong and growing swamp critters whose jobs in large measure spring from the care, feeding, growth, enforcement and mindful evasion of those same regulations.

I have three requests of the EPA:

1. Please give back our old-style gas cans that actually allowed us to pour gas safely and efficiently.

2. Give us back old-style toilets that used enough water to actually force the waste into the sewer system.

3. Restore us our old-style faucets and shower heads so the flow is strong enough to do the job.

And, above all, leave us the h-ll alone!

It is much more important than just the ‘whittle down of regulations’ and the $$$ dollar amount of savings.

Think of the horde of federal bureaucrats that will be defunded and out of their jobs.

Win-win. And expect those who will fight tooth and nail every step. We haven't seen nasty yet.

Cut regulations will cut government expenditures and reduce the size of the government.

The administration eliminated 67 regulations between the time Trump took the oath of office and the end of fiscal 2017,
..........
not a chance that trump will get regulations down to 1960 levels at this rate.

However, given his cabinet he’s likely removing the worst regulations.
