Congresswoman Says Rumor Is That Trump Will Fire Mueller Before Christmas (Jackie Speier,D-Calif)
One News Paage ^ | 12-16-2017

Republican lawmakers have been increasingly frustrated by revelations that one of the FBI agents who had a pivotal role in both the early stages of what became the Mueller investigation and the bureaus decision to excuse Hillary Clinton shared anti-Trump sentiments with his mistress, also an FBI employee.

Earlier this week, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley fired off a letter to the DOJ asking Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to explain this and other disturbing revelations indicating bias toward Trump from within both the DOJ and the Mueller probe specifically. To wit, nearly every Mueller team member donated to at least one of Hillary Clintons campaigns. Furthermore, Muellers right-hand man Aaron Zebley represented the IT staffer who installed Clintons illegal server.

These frustrations came to a head earlier this week when Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Rosenstein engaged in a testy exchange during the latters public testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

Given the mounting pressure on Mueller, its perhaps unsurprising that Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) said Friday that the rumor on Capitol Hill is that President Donald Trump is planning to fire Mueller before Christmas, but after Congress leaves Washington for the winter recess.

The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on Dec. 22, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller," Speier told California's KQED News.

They’re baiting Trump because they know Mueller has blown all credibility and has come up empty.

Jackie Speir dreams that Trump will rescue them from their coup plot by firing Mueller right before the dam busts courtesy of the IG. Pretty soon Mueller will have little choice but to resign and go hide.

Mr. Trump: Please sit back, talk softly, swing a ig stick by appointing a real Special Counsel to prosecute Hillary and her thousand dirt bags.

“I think something’s about to blow open.”

Well, I’m quite sure that you won’t see anything coming from the Justice Dept about this fiasco.

Sessions is still looking for his Metamucil, if only he can find his way to his office.

Rumor says....

If President Trump was going to fire Robert Mueller as Special Counsel, he would have done so already. Mueller has become relatively ineffectual, as he has chosen to attempt to prove a negative, that the Trump Administration or any of its members did in fact make clandestine deals with operatives from the Russian Federation, to affect the outcome of the election in 2016.

Donald Trump is not at all like the fictional Daddy Warbucks of the Little Orphan Annie comic strip, and does not stoop to backdoor deals in the name of profit for profit’s sake. The Trump brand has never been associated with dealing in weapons or mercenaries around the world, though opportunities probably abound for that sort of thing.

But there are others on the American political landscape that would prepare and execute such schemes, we know their names, and there is plenty of documentation of their past activities, yet the scrutiny applied to them has thus far been only cursory at best, and totally negligent almost all the way around.

If Special Counsel Robert Mueller really wants to hit some pay dirt, he knows where to look, and is already fully cognizant of the times and places to look into foreign involvement in US Presidential elections, but inevitably, many of these investigations would circle right back around and may include his active participation, so of course he wants to stay away from that can of worms.

He occupies his current position not to uncover any dirt on the Trump Administration, as that would be a fool’s errand, but to keep others from looking at the involvement of the Obama regime and the Hillary Clinton campaign for the Presidency.

It is not the crime, but the cover-up, that brought the Richard Nixon Administration down following the Watergate fiasco.

Too many people don’t give Trump & his advisors enough credit for being as smart as they truly are. I think Trump will/has allowed the Mueller fiasco to go on as long as it has, full well knowing that there is/was nothing Mueller would find and that the phony “witch hunt” would die of its own volition. Basically, he gave them all the rope they needed to hang themselves. Note to Trump, assuming I’m close with my analysis, WELL DONE PRESIDENT TRUMP.

“Rep. Speier: ‘Rumor on the Hill’ is Trump to Fire Mueller Before Christmas”

I wonder if that’s the only “rumor” on the Hill, or is it just one of about a half a gazillion “rumors” floating around on the Hill ALL the time? And is there anything in particular to about this particular “rumor” that might make any more valid that the other half a gazillion “rumors”?
