The ‘saturation’ of this problem is much deeper than the average American knew.
Some companies have a very tight set of rules & watch for misbehavior. Others not so much.
Obviously, Congress has been running rampant for a very long time.
I am for cleaning these predators out of Congress & replacing them with people who won’t behave in such a manner.
I worked in a number of places in my 50 years of employment. Some places had a complete atmosphere of “Thou shalt NOT be aggressive toward the staff”....Others—more like ‘take care of yourself up to a point, and then tell us who is bothering you.’ We MIGHT do something about it.
Some women toughen up & handle things pretty well. I am old enough that I didn’t get much more than catcalls, etc. Today’s SNOWFLAKE females are another story entirely. I had one younger woman act totally confused that I KNEW HOW TO CHECK THE FLUIDS IN MY CAR !!! Other women keep showing up for work dressed like a car shop calendar. IF such women ONLY see themselves in the same picture, then they are putting out the wrong vibe.
The Matt Lauers & Harvey Weinsteins are total pigs. They deserve all the shunning they get.

That is critical to me.
The dollars that made up those payouts were TASPAYER dollars.
Someone knew about these 2 ‘agencies/offices’ that handle such payouts.
Someone knew staff was hired to handle these payments.
Someone signed checks or electronic payments out of taxpayer funds.
IF over $17 million can be paid out without Congressional ‘leaders’ knowing, then the budget needs a really tight hand running it. Changes for the better must come—and soon.
SOMEONE knew alot more than they are willing to admit.
Ryan—Pelosi-—McConnell—others-—all trying to claim they didn’t know.
IF they did NOT know—they are failed ‘leaders’.
IF they did know—that is as bad or worse-—
The depth of depravity in Congress is going to be a headline for a long time.
