Full title : 60 Minutes claims 74% of extremist-related killings in US in last 10 years by right-wing extremists, not jihadis
This is a completely false statistic, designed to foster ignorance and complacency about the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat. And the establishment media repeats it, or variations of it, relentlessly. Here is why it is false:
1. It misleads immediately by covering only the last ten years. Why that period? What changed between 2006 and 2007? Why not go back 20 years? Because then the survey period would include 9/11, and would show Islamic jihad terrorists killing many, many more people than right-wing extremists. So they start it at a point that suits the data they want.
2. Counting the number of people killed by each group doesnt take into account failed attacks, such as that of the New York subway jihad bomber last week. Nor does it include foiled plots.
3. Islamic jihad terror is an international movement, with jihad groups all over the world. White supremacism or right-wing extremism isnt.
CBS News is a propaganda outlet for the left, not a news source.
Well, they still count Bernie Sanders supporter Jeremy Christian as a “right-wing extremist”, because he was screaming at two muslim women when several men confronted him on a bus and he killed them.
Also, they seem to be discussing victims, but the 74% number appears to be “incidents”, thus they count the Orlando massacre as 1 incident. Hard to tell though, nobody who cites the 74% number appears to actually publish a list.
Liberals can be cute when the play grown up but sometimes they are just vicious bastards because they know they are lying and don’t care.
So was the death toll of 49 in the Florida Pulse nightclub attributed to right-wing extremists?
Are domestic violence deaths attributed to right-wing extremists?
How about the deaths last Christmas at the California Christmas party? Were the husband and wife Muslims part of right-wing extremism?
60 Minutes- Pravda with a stop watch.
The rally at Charlottesville was organized by an antifa and Obama supporter. Someone somewhere was buying the tiki lanterns and the new nazi flags. Perhaps some of the protesters nazis were paid. Perhaps some of antifa was given walking around money.
The protest turned violent when the police disbanded the protest and sent neo nazis through the much larger, and probably more violent antifa crown, who commenced to beat the white supremicists. After that happened, a deranged man drove a car through the crowd.
I don't like Neo Nazis, and I don't like antifa. But I especially don't like propaganda.
There is no way CBS "just got" he story wrong. This story is propaganda and it is intentional. The trouble is, a lot of people believe it, and they don't want to receive factual news without the agenda basis.
We will never take our country back with fake news mills spouting dozens of fake stories and outright lies with impunity, every day.
The facts becoming hazier with the passage of time make distorting the truth easier. It was a given that the left would disseminate agenda driven fiction to galvanize their base.
This 60 Minutes piece should be part of every journalism school’s “Agitprop 101” class.
This is just another fake news article. What else would you expect from 60 minutes?
