Exact opening from Pelley: “Terrorism has come to mean Islamist Extremism, but he fact is, since 9/11, more than twice as many Americans have been murdered by White Supremacists. This threat exploded into view this past August when a protest aimed at a Civil War monument in Charlottesville, Virginia ended with one dead and 19 injured.”

Not sure where the 74% figure came from, but as I looked into this, I found figures of 52 white supremacist killings in one year (2015?), or 242 since 1995. That’s hardly twice the 3000+ from 9/11 (one way to read his quote), or have their only been 26 or 121 Islamic Extremist killings since 9/11? (a different interpretation of his quote, but including more years than “since 9/11”)

I had a hard time accepting the rest of his feature as I was trying to make sense of his (probably-pulled-out-of-his-ass) figures, but good for this ex-neo-Nazi to try and right his wrongs.

And another point, why didn’t we hear of any of those 52 in the media, who one would think would’ve shouted each instance from many rooftops in the aftermath of St. Skittles.

This piece is agitprop at its finest.

The rally at Charlottesville was organized by an antifa and Obama supporter. Someone somewhere was buying the tiki lanterns and the new nazi flags. Perhaps some of the protesters nazis were paid. Perhaps some of antifa was given walking around money.

The protest turned violent when the police disbanded the protest and sent neo nazis through the much larger, and probably more violent antifa crown, who commenced to beat the white supremicists. After that happened, a deranged man drove a car through the crowd.

I don't like Neo Nazis, and I don't like antifa. But I especially don't like propaganda.

There is no way CBS "just got" he story wrong. This story is propaganda and it is intentional. The trouble is, a lot of people believe it, and they don't want to receive factual news without the agenda basis.

We will never take our country back with fake news mills spouting dozens of fake stories and outright lies with impunity, every day.

The facts becoming hazier with the passage of time make distorting the truth easier. It was a given that the left would disseminate agenda driven fiction to galvanize their base.
