The Senate is reportedly probing former presidential candidate Jill Stein for possible collusion with Russia.
The head of the Senate Intelligence Committee said Monday that the Stein probe was one of two investigations about Russian collusion that his panel is pursuing, according to The Washington Post.
Stein dined with Russian president Vladimir Putin during a 2015 Moscow event that was also attended by Trumps former national security adviser Mike Flynn.
Politico reported in Sept. that Stein the Green Party candidate for president was the beneficiary of Russian-bought political ads on Facebook.
The committee head, Sen Richard Burr (R-NC), has previously indicated that the committee is looking into reports that Hillary Clinton had paid for the dossier of explosive allegations against then-candidate Trump during the 2016 election.

Where’s the crime?
“The Russians wouldn’t be stupid enough to believe Jill Stein would have any chance in the world of making a difference in the election.”

This Russia-investigating craze is silly. I’d expect anyone who is a VIP in public or political life to have had some form of contact with Russian VIPs.
The Uranium One deal is another matter, though.
Her vote in Wisconsin was greater than Trumps margin of victory.
The Russians might have thought that they were buying influence among the left
I wouldn’t put any credence in ANYTHING in which Richard “Aaron” Burr (R-NC) was involved. First-class RINO, and stupid to boot.
Agreed. They are a discerning, if cynical, lot.
The bigger - and unanswered question - is what did Stein do with all the money gleaned from suckers over her ludicrous and futile recount efforts? Where did it go? What are the tax ramifications? If it’s tax-exempt, where are the publicly available financial statements? What has Stein been living on since then? Fresh air?
This is all getting better and better.
This is all getting better and better.
Splitting the vote is a strategy to favor Trump. But, I don’t believe their advertising and trolling effort was large enough to be effective.
