That chart is not up-to-date. Solar cycle 24 made it up to 75 or so. We are not in a Dalton Minimum yet.

Yep, true. I just grabbed the first version that came up on image search. There is a "newer" one that goes thru 2012 somewhere. Although not in a Dalton or Maunder minimum yet, all indications are that we are in the early stage of one.

So, Time magazine was correct. In the 70's.
