Your very need to use biased language is quite suspicious.

The spirit of Christmas touches many in many different ways, but always leaves each one better for having experienced.

There is one more Gift we'd all like you to receive...

                                                                              How silently, how silently,
                                                                              the wondrous gift is given;
                                                                              so God imparts
                                                                              to human hearts
                                                                              the blessings of his heaven.

No ear may hear his coming,
but in this world of sin,
                                                                              where meek souls will
                                                                              receive him, still
                                                                              the dear Christ enters in.

A few years ago my department was in a staff meeting before Christmas and the director commented that his wife was in a tizzy because she always got something for the department employees for Christmas and one was a Jehovah Witness and she didn’t want to offend her and we were admonished not to talk Christmas around her because she didn’t celebrate the holiday.

Me being a smarta$$, I popped up and said so we can assume this employee doesn’t celebrate Christmas she will be working Christmas eve and Christmas day, right? I got mouths falling open, silence and a couple of winks from some of the other employees. The director let it lay and went on with the meeting.

At my wife’s work she ran into the same thing with a Jehovah Witness and they were admonished not to doing overt Christmas things in front of them. My wife asked the HR director, how come they get to offend me by demanding my silence and acquiescence to their beliefs? No answer. Then she said to her then they don’t have to look at my office decorations and unless it is business related I can ignore them completely and decorated her door that afternoon. She complained as well, really they don’t celebrate but eagerly take the day off and won’t turn down that Christmas bonus. I guess their morals end where the bonus begins.

Has no continuity!

Her son was born at Tabernacles; his enemies created “Christmas.”

What a great read! Thank you for posting it.

It took me a long time to recognize that I was choosing to be offended.

I’ve heard that the only taste we are born with is a taste for mother’s milk. All other tastes are acquired.

I’ve also heard that personality is a device the ego uses to get what it wants.

Alone this Christmas, I look in the mirror at the wretched soul staring back and thank God for His amazing Grace ...and for another day to get it right this time.

>> “At least Jesus was an integral part of advancing Western Civ.” <<

Actually, no. Shemetic civilization is distinctly “eastern.”

Western civ came from Rome, and is substantially at odds with all that Yeshua preached. That is substantially the disconnect between grossly misnamed “christianity,” and the faith that Yeshua preached, which was the very same faith presented by Yehova on the first Shavuot at Mt. Sinai, and preached by Moses also.

Confusing, is it not?

We all killed him.

Thank you.

He went unto him own (Jews) and they received him not.I am the worst all all sinners. I am an Independent Baptist. He willingly died for all of us who receive him, Jews and gentiles alike. This was the plan from the foundations of the world. We all have been in a mess. How do we get out of this mess. Accept his death, burial, and resurrection. Your choice , accept Him or reject him. Your choice.

>> “Like McGavin999, I remember my Jewish friends on the holidays of their faith” <<

Good, because those days are appointed for all by Yehova, and are the days of Yeshua and his disciples faith too! A simple reading of The Acts will tell you that.

The confusion began in the 4th century, and progressed uder the power of commerce to give us the mess we have today, where people express regret for commercializing what really is a commercial “Holiday.”

Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon him while He is near.”

Proverbs 30:4 “Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!”

Exodus 33:17 “...I know you by name.”

Leviticus 20:26 “You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.”

Job 19:25 “For I know my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.”

Psalm 22:16 “...they have pierced my hands and feet.”

Psalm 118:14, 19-22 “The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation...Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it. I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone that the builders have rejected has become the cornerstone.”

Isaiah 9:6&7 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”

Isaiah 11:1-4 & 10 “There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, nor decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked...In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples - of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious.”

My brother, I encourage you to read, again, Isaiah 42 1-9: this refers to Jesus.

In Isaiah 43:1, the Lord says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”

In Isaiah 43:25, God says, “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”

In Isaiah 45:13, referring to Jesus, God says, “I have stirred him up in righteousness, and I have made all his ways level; he shall build up my city and set all my exiles free, not for price or reward.”

Isaiah 45:22 says, “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God and there is no other.” Speaking of himself and his son, Jesus, God continues, in verse 45:23, “To me every knee shall bow; every tongue shall swear allegiance.” He continues in Isaiah 46:11-13, “I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed and I will do it. ‘Listen to me you stubborn of heart, you who are far from righteousness I bring near my righteousness; it is not far off, and my salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.’”

Isaiah 50:5-11 is about Jesus.

All o Isaiah 53 is about Jesus, as is Isaiah 55:6-13 and Isaiah 59:20 & 21.

Jeremiah 23:5&6 refers to Christ, who was risen up from the line of David.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, as the prophets predicted. He was eventually raised in Nazareth, as the prophets predicted. He lived, preached, saved, suffered, died and rose again, paying the price for your sins and mine. Through God’s mercy and the grace of Jesus, your sins are forgiven (as are mine), as long as you confess your belief in Jesus as your savior, your redeemer from God, your Messiah. I pray for you, brother. Please, do not continue to harden your heart, do not deafen your ears, do not bind your eyes. Your Messiah has come. He is Jesus. He knows you by name. And He seeks to save your soul from the pit of Hell. All you need do is accept Him into your heart as your savior. May God bless you and your family. And, please, read the New Testament.

Save this for someone who is not a Jew. J.C. has NO place in Judaism. You can waste 20x more bandwidth, but you might as well be telling me that Shivah or Baal has a place in my religion. They have as much place as J.C. Semantics, quoting out of context, and all the other Messyonic tricks-—I am hip to them and can easily prove the fakery. Don’t even try it with me.

There are none so blind as those who will not see. Peace, brother. I pray you will soon choose the narrow gate, for the path you are currently on leads only to misery and destruction, when all is said and done. God bless you and your family.

That's right. And apparently, you have a Braille keyboard. You keep tossing your cut-and-paste proselytizing material at someone far too canny for it to be effective. I see right through your practiced patter, so you are wasting your time. You suffer from major mental illness to think you can condemn my religion, tout yours as better, and make your sick predictions. You are one and the same with Muzzlimes, who also have an intolerance for any creed not their own. I don't want anything to do with your religion, your beliefs, your religious icons, so please keep them to yourself.

Brother, I have responded to your posts kindly and with information. I am not trying to convince you of anything. I am urging you to look beyond your self imposed blinders, prejudices and the hatred you express. You are welcome to reject the information I have shared with you. Your venom, though, is seriously misplaced. I suggest you check your mirror...and seek consolation through God. I’m only the messenger...and I will pray on your behalf. Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family.

Her son was born at Tabernacles;

Huh??

The Book clearly says Bethlehem: House of Bread.

tab·er·nac·le
[ˈtabərˌnakəl]
NOUN
tabernacles (plural noun)
  1. (in biblical use) a fixed or movable habitation, typically of light construction.

Bethlehem: House of Bread.

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Matthew 26:26
Now as they were eating, Jesus, having taken bread and having blessed it, broke it, and having given it to the disciples, He said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

Sorry to leave the uneducated in the dark.

“Tabernacles” is the 15th day of Tishri, the feast provided by Yehova for his children to celebrate the coming of their redeemer.

Sign up for Sunday school somewhere.

You’ll have lots of fun, and they will give you things to color!
