Justin Haskins is a pro-liberty writer, editor, research fellow, and the editor-in-chief of the New Revere Daily Press and CrazyThingsLiberalsSay.com.

So you see he's not a journalist and it's time for you grow up and stop acting like a ten year old

That is a financial calculator.

I used that model for years and is laying around somewhere, when I replaced it with computers, smart phones, chrome books and pads.

How is it unlikely when we already have 3% growth with a predicted year end estimate of GDP growth somewhere just under 4%?

Sustained over the next 10 years? Perhaps, but I'm skeptical.

I don’t think the assumption is 3-5%. The assumption assumes it bumps GDP up from like 2.1% to 2.2%.

She made a couple of questionable (from a Leftist point of view) comments in the last six weeks or so.

That may have set them off.

I agree with your take. Those things and the new 24,000 approximate deduction for two people, will make it a lot easier to file a short form now also.

It might even be competitive with a small mortgage.

This myth is particularly absurd, because not only did the Senate refuse to eliminate the deduction, the final version of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed by the House and Senate actually lowers the threshold at which people can claim the deduction, down to 7.5 percent of income. This means under Republicans’ legislation, people will be able to deduct even more of their medical expenses.

Such a narrowly focused opinion. Completely ignores the fact that the near doubling of the standard deduction pretty much supersedes being able to deduct medical expenses/premiums over the AGI threshold. I know in our case, it's mainly the reason why we'll owe more federal taxes in 2018 than under the current tax system.

This is not a tax cut for quite a few of us. It’s the largest tax increase I’ve seen in my life. My taxes just went up a few thousand per year, and I have no idea how we’re going to get by now.

Not that congress or anyone else cares, obviously.

Nah. “Nothing” would have been better than increasing my taxes, which just happened.

I liked this pic found over on DUmp...they hate her for some reason.

She did not support Hillary during the election and about a month ago she made a very public statement that if Hillary had become President our Country would have now been in the toilet.

Hardly rich.

But not only do I fall into some “bad” categories with the new tax plan, I also live in fairly nice house in an extremely high property tax town in a high tax state.

And for those who say, “everyone should leave high tax states!,” well, it doesn’t quite work like that for a multitude of reasons. And really, if large numbers of people moved to NC, VA, FL, AZ... and kept to their political ways, I’m not sure that would be a good thing for the GOP in the future.

Understand. We should all be skeptical considering the corruption ROT we see in the deepest bowels of our government. However, tax cuts works in improving our economy ever time it is tried.
