I bought up a large cashe of them a few years back when I first heard of this stupidity. I have enough to last the rest of my lifetime.
I do too. I haven’t added to it in years and it is still well stocked. Incandescents last.
I find the light cast by the curly bulbs to be very diffuse and as a result tough on the eyes. I do a lot of reading and incandescents are the best for that in my opinion. Plus, aren’t there many anecdotes about the curly bulbs catching fire?
Ditto!

Same here. I keep finding them stuck away in places I forgot about.
I bought 1000 each (100, 75, and 60 watt) of Krypton 10-year incandescent light bulbs when they first started talking about this. I’m going to bequeath what’s left when I die to my kids ... should be more than three-quarters of each.
LOL...me too; in fact, the wife and I were in the garage recently and were laughing at all the bulbs we have stored, and were wondering if our heirs would ever run out?

So did I. And wasn’t GW the one who signed the original law?
