From what I have read, it was a 10 vote victory for the Republican, and after a recount, turned into a 1 vote victory for the Democrat.

It's been a while since I delved into statistics, but to get a turnaround like that on a recount, even for 10 votes, is unlikely. The initial winner is more than likely to pick up votes.

Thus I suspect fraud.

Dims: I told you General Lee was too rotten to vote this year. His right hand nearly fell off in the booth and he no longer has a working eyeball.

Agree, I don’t see how it can be constitutional for a state to select a legislator by a method of chance. Either the person gets appointed to fill the post on an interim basis, or you have an election with a winner. It’s absurd.

On a happy note, it looks like the Dems will have a tougher time stealing this election. I guess they just stop counting once their person takes the lead. Oops!

That would send the Dem voter-fraud machine into high gear. I suggest a good, old-fashioned log rolling contest instead.
