Exactly. I’ve studied this story for years. He wanted someone else to take the fall but the Kennedy lawyers working all night couldn’t figure out a way. He was there and he had to own up to driving. He even had to own up to consuming a bit of alcohol.

I just watched this last weekend...I think this is one of the best documentaries on the subject. Answers virtually all the questions that other theories don’t answer. Ted Kennedy's life got derailed?You are right -- MaryJo's life was the one that really got derailed. He, of course, went on to be Senator of MA for many more years, so, exactly HOW was HIS life "derailed"?
