Nobody. This is the crap the media pulls when they start getting concerned about a military strike. Ever since they successfully made the US quit in Vietnam, they think it’s their job to stop any military action by a non-DemonRat. Their aim is to make the Trump Administration go, “Oh $h!+, the jig is up.” Then the hope is that they’ll go public saying they won’t strike and put any plan to bed after the media and the usual suspects scream, cry, and have a public freak-out. This is a media pre-emptive PR strike, nothing more.
I tend to agree with you, but this may be a strategic leak too.
The Trump administration is willing to use our armed forces to set North Korea straight, but top level chess is still the preferred tactic, as it should be.
Kim needs a come to reality moment, for him and his people.
Probably nobody. It's always a safe bet that the Pentagon always has several plans, ranging from nothing to total annihilation. They probably have several plans for lots of countries besides N. Korea too.
So yes, we probably do have a "bloody nose" plan in our bag of options in case the CIC calls for us to act.
