Seems to be a lot of Jeff Sessions promotion going on this morning.

Is this why?

Case dismissed for prosecutorial misconduct. A stand up fellow. A real pillar of the legal community. A prosecutor to admire and follow. Ok, enough - barf.

This is small beer.

Is this something to toot your horn about when we still have traitors and seditionists at high levels in the FBI and Justice department working to derail the Trump presidency?

The same people who aligned themselves with the democrat party and tried to prevent the election of a republican presidential candidate.

We know of high crimes and misdemeanors from Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and their staffs.

We have seen high level Obama officials openly and indisputably lie under oath at congressional hearings.

We know of Hillary Clinton’s criminal behavior in the eMail scandal and breaches of security.

We know of her pay-to-play policies that netted $140 million dollars for the Clinton foundation.

When will we read about Sessions taking action on these issues?

#5 - ATF RULING 2001-1.

"Held, the registration period for the USAS-12, Striker-12, and Streetsweeper shotguns will closeon May 1, 2001. No further registrations will be accepted after that date. Persons in possession of unregistered NFA firearms are subject to all applicable penalties under 26 U.S.C. Chapter 53."

As I understand this, the Striker-12 and Streetsweeper shotguns were declared as destructive weapons. Per this ruling, anyone in possession of these firearms after May 1, 2001, if they were unregistered, would be charged accordingly.

#6 ATF Ruling 2004-1 "Caloric and Carbohydrate Representations in the Labeling and Advertising of Wine, Distilled Spirits and Malt Beverages"

12 pages of nanny state oversight.

It appears AG Sessions is of the impression that all of those accusations are political in origin and undeserving of meaningful investigation or, up until facts revealed through Judicial Watch and intelligence committee investigations, even serious inquiry. It is like he views the government agencies as being undoubtedly apolitical. His hand has to be forced...he is like an enabling parent whose 45 yr old children still live at home with free maid and laundry services.

Agree.

We are on the outside looking in.

Sessions is on the inside looking out.
He is totally vested in the Big-Gov swamp culture.

Heck - He spent 20 years in the senate helping to build the dysfunctional government we have today.

This is very good news. I realize that Mr. Sessions has (often justifed) detractors here, but this is exactly what needs to occur across the Federal government.

The Justice Department has been issuing letters and guidance as a method of avoiding the legally defined process for issuing regulations. The Congress directed that process to ensure public input before they can enact regulations. Further, these documents often assert authority they have not been granted by the Congress.

These illegal dictats are now gone, this is a small, but very important win.

ATF Ruling 2001-1 was rescinded because the registration window closed on May 1, 2001.

Here is ATF ruling 2017-1 that rescinds the applicable ATF rulings in Attorney General Session's memo:

“... any guidance that is outdated, used to circumvent the regulatory process, or that improperly goes beyond what is provided for in statutes or regulation should not be given effect”

Unlike ex resident Barry Soetero Obeyme who insisted on allowing his puppet master George Soros to rule with “a pen and a phone.”
Executive orders are not law.

“Regulatory guidance” is not law.

NOW we know where AG Jeff Sessions has been all this time.

Would I like to see Hillary, Bill, Soros, Podesta, Obama, Jarrett and all the rest hanging by meathooks and piano wire in the public square? Sure would, but this is a start.

#MAGA

Maybe, or maybe just throwing us a bone.

Perfectly said.

Sessions is the biggest disappointment of Trump’s administration.

Ooh. He got rid of some memos. Big whoop. Now start locking up treasonous democrats.

One small step in a process that will hopefully become a giant leap in regulatory undoing and reform.

Trust Sessions to recuse unnecessarily and hand the job of AG over to Rosenstein.

You won’t be disappointed.
