This could be exactly right. Rumors are that leaks were allowed left and right when they were damaging to Trump, especially just before and after his inauguration. But now, with the leaks starting to expose the corruption that was and is taking place in the DOJ, they are finally making it a priority to shut them down.
Baker would be a perfect case in point, since he was originally caught leaking sensitive information about the NSA's access to Yahoo mail a year or so ago.
It's also very interesting that James Rosen just announced he is leaving FOX news, just a few days after he released some huge scoops based on leaks.
