Less than a month after President Trump announced the U.S. would move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Guatemala became the first nation to follow his lead, announcing on Christmas Eve that it would move its embassy as well...No other country has their embassy for Israel in Jerusalem, though the Czech Republic has said it is considering such a move.

Notice the mention about Nikki Haley in the article.
Good for them! Guatemala also voted against that ridiculous UN resolution trashing the US for supporting Israel..had no idea that Guatemala was pro Israel so I gained a new respect for them :-)
The winning.
It continues.
Goog! (Good for Guatemala! Guatemala has just put Uk and France etc to shame!)
I have friends from Guatemala. It’s a dreadful place. This is a nice gesture, though.
It might be that they want special treatment for their “Dreamers”.
The difference between “leading from the front” and “leading from behind” is just amazing isn’t it? ;-)
Merry Christmas, everybody!
MAGA
I am half Czech; I think they and Poland will follow suit.
President Trump is a leader.
Go “Guate”!
Guatemala has some of the most rapidly growing Orthodox Christian missions in the world.
My family has been a monthly contributor to O.C.M.C. toward this missionary effort for several years.
Are Orthodox Christians in Guatemala of native or Spanish-mestizo heritage, or immigrants from traditionally Orthodox countries?
I’m asking just anthropologically.
Here’s how CNN will report it:
“Trump follows Guatemala’s lead in moving embassy to Jerusalem”
More will follow, and this is the only way to bring the two sides back to peace negotiations. If peace negotiations are truly desired by both sides. If not then the loser will be the one refusing to work towards a peaceful solution. That loser will not be the Israel, in my opinion.
We should deport liberals and give Guatemalans citizenship.
They are natives who have been evangelized by Orthodox missionaries...one of the largest communities was established when a well respected Roman Catholic Priest left the RCC for the Orthodox Church. Thousands followed him.
The greatest obstacle facing the Guatemalan missions is a shortage of Priests and Deacons. Part of the OCMC’s work is the establishment of an indigenous Seminary...about 12 enrolled, last I heard.
More courage than I imaged in Guatemala!
Sounds good to me :-) Actually one of my Mom’s tenants(At an apt building my grandmother owned) is from Guatemala..he’s a real pain in the rear sometimes but he’s lived there for like 20 years and helps out when needed
I imagine they will also benefit from an updated trade policy.
Yes, deport them TO Guatemala
