Lithuania sends Pope Francis 'world's smallest' nativity scene for Christmas

Pope Francis is going to need a microscope to see this year's Christmas gift from Lithuania. The small Baltic country has given Francis a microscopic nativity scene where baby Jesus is smaller than a human cell.

Pope Francis will have to look extra hard to see what's special about his Christmas present from Lithuania.

Lithuania's government and researchers in the capital Vilnius announced on Friday that they sent Francis a nativity scene that is invisible to the naked eye.

The scene is a replica of the life-sized creche located in Cathedral Square in downtown Vilnius.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite posted a picture on Twitter of herself using a microscope to view a copy of the one that was sent to Francis earlier this month.

"The most important things — invisible to the naked eye," Grybauskaite wrote on Twitter, calling the model the "world's smallest nativity scene."

That distinction is still pending, however, as the university where the model was produced said it was only recently submitted for review by judges with the Guinness World Records.

I know; I put in a request in my comment to refrain from bashing. Maybe some will comply.

A perfect gift for Pope Fraud!

After comparing the Holy Family to illegal immigrants this week, “microscopic” perfectly describes Francis’ understanding of the divine importance of the nativity.

Appropriately sized to match the amount of Christianity left in the Pope’s heart. ;-)

They’d need tiny instruments to operate on those people and animals.

Dude, you don’t get to pre-censor replies. Who do you think you are?

You are free to post. We are free to respond however we wish so long as we post within the forum’s rules.

Pope Fraud is a disaster and is causing damage everywhere in the world but especially to the Christian world. He never gets a a free pass from me. Ever.

Question about the protocol; since most Popes die in office instead of retiring, was the gift to Francis personally or to the Papacy? I would expect that except for a few personal effects that might go to family members, most of a Pope’s possessions remain church property.

LOL, the article does mention the name Pope Francis seven times throughout it.

It’s kind of like if you’re taking a picture of the most beautiful art sculptures ever created, but in the background there’s a mangy dog licking his balls. You’re supposed to try to ignore the dog.

Pope Francis: “Very nice, but who’s the baby? Is it meant to represent all the unwanted fetal tissue masses that are THANKFULLY disposed of by abortion? Does it represent communism, which — in its infant stage — needs to be nurtured and grown? Or perhaps it represents all the oppressed Muslims trapped in their home countries?”

(Francis starts levitating, while his head spins 360 degrees as he projectile-vomits)

I failed your test.

But in my defense, I never read the article or initial post before posting a reply. :)

It should belong to Benedict who is the real Pope. Francis is an usurper. Just Ike his great buddy, Barack Obama, was.
