Barely, and only because Trump is who he is and kept fighting. Many others would have thrown the towel in. The reality is that on the left are forces very, very willing to subvert the law and do anything necessary to gain and maintain control, and to shift American demographics such that those who disagree with them can be silenced. They are truly dangerous, and this historical opportunity (Trump’s election) must not be squandered, and must be used to derail what the left thought had become unstoppable.
You actually severely understate the reality of the situation. The left has infiltrated the fabric of our society. They started out with the unions, but for many decades they have concentrated on Hollywood, media, and education. In addition they have the inevitable decline of civilization on their side. Our system and way of life is not immune to the degradation that eventually has taken down all societies throughout history. At this point we may experience a blip in the right direction i.e. Reagan and Trump but the long term prognosis is still not pretty.
Sometime in the not so distant future some sort of cataclysmic event will take place. The entire world order will be shaken to the core. Chaos will reign for a period of time and out of the ashes a new social order will arise. Unfortunately, it will probably be uglier than what we have now, but life is not pretty. At least some of the nonsense such as “global warming”, LBGT, and so much other leftist BS will be forgotten. It reminds me of what nearly every father says to their kids, “Stop crying or I will give you something to really cry about.”
There are currently 7.6 Billion people in the world. Most of them are living in conditions that make Mexico look like some type of tropical paradise. There are currently 1.6 Billion Muslims, 1.35 Billion Chinese, 1.25 Billion Indians, 1.2 Billion Africans, 600 Million Caribbean and Central Americans in the world. There are Billions not mentioned in other parts of Asia. I can't find any truly believable statistics, but it appears that there are less than a billion people who are of white European decent left and our birth rate is far less than that of other groups. That is one of the primary reasons Europe is letting outsiders stream across their borders. They are getting old and they have not had enough kids to take care of them.
The have-nots want what we have got, and our liberal society is doing everything it can to give it to them. We have already seen a recent preview of what is going to eventually happen in Europe and here. South Africa was by for the most prosperous area in the Southern region of the continent. The climate is harsher there than in the rest of Africa so there were very few indigenous peoples originally living in the country.
The South Africans kept letting more and more refugees move in until white people were a minority. They faced extreme criticism for decades because the newcomers were treated differently than White South Africans. Eventually the blacks took over and the place is now largely a living hell for everyone, but especially the white minority. The violent crime rate has gone through the roof. When white people are murdered, raped, beaten or set on fire by black people the chances that the perpetrators will be punished are very low.
We can hope that we will not see this happen in our country any time soon, but that is the reality that leftists and demographic trends currently have us on a trajectory towards. I am not sure that it can be stopped. There are currently less than 200 million non-Hispanic white people in the United States. Our birth rates are currently so low that there are not enough babies born to replace those who die. The population of whites in the United States has not increased since Reagan was president. Yet the population of the country has gone from 230 million to 323 million. The 93 million person increase in our country in the last 30 years was basically all from people not of European ancestry.
It is the post WWII generations that have allowed the makeup of our country to evolve into something that our ancestors would not recognize. We have been given one last chance to turn things around with President Trump.
