Not bad, but if you want serious snow head for Valdez, Alaska - the snowfall capital of the 49th state. The AVERAGE snowfall is 305.8 inches annually, over 25 feet.
The winter of 1989-90 is in the record books with 560.7 inches, over 46 feet. The storage piles of plowed snow usually last until summertime.
Folks have to keep their roofs shoveled at times to prevent collapse.

Wow, that’s a lot of snow! In the DC area, everything shuts down for a few inches of snow.
