Donald Trump is on course to win re-election in 2020, senior British diplomats believe, as he approaches his first full year in office. They think that despite a string of negative headlines the US president has largely kept his support base onside since entering White House Possible Democratic contenders are seen as either too old such as Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden or lacking in the name recognition needed to defeat Mr Trump. The analysis is significant as it underpins the advice Theresa May is given and shapes how she approaches the UK-US special relationship. ...Should Mr Trumps presidency look set to stretch to 2024, the Prime Minister could be more inclined to turn a blind eye to potential rows over his tweeting. ...

“Hardly a major insight. Hes got solid accomplishments under his belt, is finally getting his partys leadership rallied round him, and his opposition has become delusional and has nothing constructive to offer. Of course hes going to win.”
Here’s the thing:
Does anyone out there know even one Trump voter who is disappointed in his performance this past year, so much so that they would vote Dem?
Me neither.
But I do know some honest dems and Indies that are warming to him.
Bump for that!
Judge Moore would have one handily if the Repukes didn’t go all in against him. Which sitting Senator would have overcome those odds? People say nominate a good candidate but I say the key is getting behind whomever is nominated. Moore still would have won if the Repukes were there. They have self fulfilling prophecies
Too early to tell. If the Repukes manage to lose the seat in Arizona which I’m sure they’ll try to do if they don’t get there way then that state could be gone in 2020...PA and Michigan will be tough to hold as well. Colorado could flip though... Repukes try to lose so it’s way to early to say
I think at about 4% the Fed will apply the brakes. But that’s still stellar growth.
Repukes will try to lose I’d they don’t get there way in the primaries. It’s easy to see them losing Arizona because they don’t want Kelli Ward in the Senate... I’m sure there will be an incumbent or two who loses in the primary and they will purposely lose those seats...they did it a couple of times. Moore is just the latest
Of course he will win in 2020. Trumpmania has shown no signs of slowing down.......

Great tidings from across the Pond.
Cheerio and here’s looking forward to another seven spectacular years of MAGA.
God Bless our great President Trump for putting our country back on the right track.
Winning feels so good!!!
If the economy takes off full steam, people’s wages increase, etc. it will be very difficult for the narrative that his policies aren’t working to take effect. People notice what is in their own wallets no matter what the news media narrative is.
In an ultra landslide, you MIGHT add Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Oregon to that list of long shots.
I do think Republicans will have a wipe out in the senate come 2018 though.
Exactly. Once again RINOs did their own grave. By employing this against Moore, the Democrats will now use it against them.
Republicans really like to defeat themselves do they not? The rush to make Dreamers citizens is suicidal.
You mean the angry 5’1” Kamala Harris is not a threat to Trump ?
I'd bet against President Trump's impeachment, as well as shorting on Mark Zuckerberg and Kanye West being elected the next President.
But, that's just me.
