Is it even legal to home school in California?
I invite you to visit fly over country. Things are a little different here than there.
Parents aren’t barred, yet, from moving out of Kalifornica.
The kids shouldnt be studying prejudices of any kind.
Kalifornia’s Politburo has mandated that under their Gaystapo’s new statutory recruiting efforts, all normal children will now be brainwashed and assimilated into the < 2% LGBT mental illness population. Their first step will be to subvert their gender identities, and parents will remain clueless until they come home to discover their kid hanging in their garage.
This is why gutless weasels who parrot the PC party lines of “to each their own,” “it’s none of my concern” and “what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is their business” make me sick because they’re using laws to erase moral and biological boundaries in the name of “normalization.” There’s nothing “normal” about it.
Did people really believe that they would stop their forced aggression at “just being left alone?” Is anyone that stupid? Evidently so.
>>What about Christian inclusive textbooks?
Religious dogma to be taught by Public School "teachers" - when progressive poodle pastors in the LCMS can't even be trusted given that some casually mention their patronization of McDonalds and other LGBT-agenda supporting corporate collectives from the pulpit?
The LGBT issue won't be solved by enabling religious dogma in the schools. The opposition will just pervert it like they've done in numerous former church bodies who now operate in the spirit of anti-Christ.
BIOLOGY not theology.
2+2=4, not 5.

Actually, the California Legislature considered a bill awhile back that would CHARGE a tax for anyone or any business that moved out of California. Even if you died there & quit spending money there-—they would tax you.
I think the laws about Interstate Commerce prevented them from going forward with it, but they actually debated such a bill.
I cannot emphasize enough-—there are perfectly good places to live OUTSIDE of California that are cheaper—safer—and cleaner air than what you all are tolerating.
This kind of ‘textbook’ problem shows the degredation California has sunk to.
We homeschooled all of our kids. Almost done, and all are on a track toward a successful, productive life. I don’t really understand why anyone would send their kid to a public school anymore.
Homeschool ping.
Sexual harassment is a core value of liberal politics.
This is both child abuse and parent abuse.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
We homeschooled our 8 kids and they are generally successful and productive though some have gone over to the dark side.
Sorry, CA. My answer would be either homeschooling or sayonara.
Sending your children to a private school and/or homeschooling them is the solution to this situation.
CA, you’re definitely one screwed up state. With all due respect to fellow FReepers from CA, this state is completely dysfunctional. They get what they deserve.
Sorry about the ammo.
Celebration is mandatory, anything less is punishable.
The parents should pull the kids out of public school and create home schooling co-ops. If enough students are removed the liberal school system will wither and die without the money from the missing students.
Not assimilated, “indoctrinated” and taught “proper thoughts”.
The government schools also depend on votes in the ballot box to support politicians favorable to the government’s socialist-entitlement schools.
Fewer kids in the government system means less political support.
