Trump has been ordering the DOJ to comply, on Twitter which is considered official correspondence. He's probably requested it in other manners as well. They're just ignoring him, so far, knowing the GOP RINO’s in Congress have threatened Trump with impeachment if he fires Sessions, which the libs will spin as obstruction of justice.

Trump needs Nunes to file the Contempt charges, to give him cover to clean house at the DOJ. Since Nunes hasn't done that, yet, it means the votes probably aren't quite there. But we have to be getting close.
