A former State Department official with ties to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was subpoenaed by the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday because of his reported firsthand knowledge of the sources behind the salacious dossier on President Trump, the committee confirmed to Fox News.

Chairman Devin Nunes issued the subpoena to David Kramer, a senior fellow at the McCain Institute for International Leadership, on Wednesday afternoon to obtain the names of sources behind the dossier, the contents of which are not yet confirmed.

This Kramer jackwagon has really stepped in it. He was a johnny come lately to the whole dossier business, having only talked to Steele AFTER the election, in late November 2016, so he had no first hand knowledge of how the dossier was put together. But he goes and tells the House Intel Committee in testimony given 12/19/2017, just a couple of weeks ago, that he knows the identities of the dossier sources, BUT WON'T TELL THE COMMITTEE.

Kramer is clearly an idiot, and his choice now is to reveal that he doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about (most likely), or to reveal something damaging that Steele told him about the dossier sources. The answer in either case will be enlightening.
