700,000 already enrolled get a green card in exchange for complete wall funding, end anchor babies, end chain migration, mandatory e-verify for work and benefits, massively increased funding for expedited removals starting with the parents of the amnestied.
After the wall is up and fully functioning, let’s make a new deal that there will be no DACA whatsoever.
A not-so-memorable movie but its premise was novel: The ship was leaking so much that even with all the crew and passengers bailing furiously, they were losing ground day by day. Would they reach safety before it slipped under?
We're in the same position here, it's pouring in and we could be inundated if we don't FIX IT. First priority is to STOP THE FLOODING, then decide what to do with what's already in the boat.

It's not accident that in the last election, the RNC's two favored candidates were "illegal immigration is an act of love" Jeb Bush and gang of 8 Marco Rubio as the pinch hitter. These were the two Republican candidates most dedicated to open borders and a de facto North American union, whereby Mexico and Central America can continue to use the US as the dumping ground for their surplus populations. The GOP establishment elites would be laughing all the way to the bank with this demographic displacement, since they get the cheap labor and none of the immediate costs in their gated communities. It never occurred to them that it's also a recipe for losing elections in the future, because no matter how much GOP establishmentarians pander to non-whites, Democrats are so much better at that game.

This is why Trump is the greatest President ever. He is a man of his word,. He will need to tell Rino McConnell and John Cornyn to get off this “increased security “ crap and be willing to veto their half assed amnesty bill. Make no mistake about the definition of amnesty here. Amnesty is NOT citizenship. Amnesty is removing the consequences for an illegal act. If you take a 35 year old who has no legal standing here but you waive the law — That is AMNESTY. The special case of daca should only apply to illegal aliens under the age of majority since a 35 year old absolutely knew the law and continued to break it. But as to small children smuggled into the country we should let them stay but=y never vote and no citizenship until they get back in line but only for the full WALL and annihilation of chain migration for ALL immigrants!! Not just Daca. If you come legally— NO CHAIN MIGRATION for anyone!!!

Trump saved us, and our country from Hillary. For that I am eternally grateful. Having said that, he was hard over on giving the illegals the boot during the campaign, and that Mexico would pay for the wall...
Now, he is getting wobbly on the deportation issue, and wants congress to fund the wall.
Caving on the wall I can understand, but if he succumbs to amnesty for the Dreamers, he will lose his base. JMHO
I'm not sure Reagan was tricked per se. I think he just didn't see mass third world immigration to be the great threat that it is, and furthermore, the business interests who were among his core constituencies were clamoring for cheap labor (and to be fair to Reagan, it was a problem on a much smaller scale 30+ years ago, though it doesn't take much imagination to see how a trickle can become a flood over time).
The real trick was on the American people: the promise that amnesty would be given once and then the border would be secured. In fact, it served as an open invitation, telling every border runner that if they come here, they probably won't be thrown out if they just squat here illegally long enough.
In every election since the last amnesty up until Trump broke through the Bush blockade at the RNC, the Bush League had prevented US from electing anyone who would side with US and the rule of law.
Every GOP nominee for President was an amnesty/open borders advocate.
It was not accidental, it was intentional.
Don’t give them ANYTHING first or they’ll find a way to wiggle out of it or throw up lawsuit after lawsuit to delay the wall.

Every other piece of corporate mail I get includes some wasted sheet of paper blabbering on for paragraph after paragraph about how the company respects and is working to protect the privacy of my personally identifiable information.
So — yeah — I think America’s in the mood for a great, big, beautiful Privacy Screen.
Even with the Bushes out of the picture, however, there are many GOP establishmentarians who share their mindset, they just aren't as loud about it. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell's views on amnesty probably aren't all that different from Jeb's. We even have a few people on this forum who repeat the propaganda line about Mexican illegals "doing the work Americans won't do."
The Bush League still run most of the GOP, state and national party apparatus and most of the elected GOP are not on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
This MUST change.
We HAVE to remove the Amnesty Senators and House weasels.

Been pointing that out for years. Illegals are perfectly content to stay illegal if they are left alone. Saying we’ll give legal status but not citizenship is absurd, THEY DONT WANT CITIZENSHIP! Heck, only some 30% of Mexicans who are LEGAL immigrants ever make the effort to become citizens, overall Hispanic numbers only slightly better.
