I'd rather have a real wall and DACA (hopefully without citizenship), rather than some ideal of that you continue to imagine that ends up never being reality. Who taught you how to negotiate?
All of the points of his list, which he stated a while back, needs to be implemented and then, and only then, can discussion of amnesty for certain children be discussed and so long as the illegal parents and other illegal family members ALL GO HOME. These kids cannot be anchor kids.

Yeah. It’s not acceptable to me. No amnesty of any kind is acceptable to me. He needs to speed up the deportations and get on with enforcing the law. Then work on changing the bad crap into a merit based immigration system. I’m sick of supporting poor immigrants, legal and illegal.
The term “Dreamer” needs to be publicly redefined. A Dreamer is not an illegal, but a US citizen student denied college admission or tuition breaks due to the preferences given to illegals.
There has never been an effective wall though. If there’s a wall I’ll compromise for those that truly came as a child, especially when they don’t speak Spanish and are educated contributors to society.
I just don’t see deporting them all as an option.

That is fuzzy logic. Every one of them from Spanish speaking countries speaks Spanish, they were raised by Spanish speaking parents. Most of their parents still don’t know English so they HAVE to speak Spanish.

The PRESIDENT should not be the one executing immigration orders. The Congress had allocated billions to faith based charities in human trafficking. You seriously think President Trump can stop payment on congressional funding to their religion of choice? You seem to willingly ignore the judiciary’s role in aiding and abetting the illegal invasion.
One of his comments in his book was Reagan not keeping his word on immigration and how both the rats and Rino’s played him on the issue.
I hope this is him playing the Rats against the DACA/Scamnasty lobby. When they start hounding the Rats at every turn, ole Bug Eyes and Chuckles will come begging.
Why must our Wall be held hostage to us agreeing to amnesty for DACA. I know, politics. It’s beyond disgusting. Our nation will not be restored by allowing them and their children, etc. to remain. It’s not their fault but it’s not our fault either. Why should we have to pay? No deal.
I’m sorry but there are none that are saints. I don’t hero worship as some do for our President. He has done outstanding things and some (as this) he has flubbed beyond all recognition. See the difference between those that can say the President effed this one up and those that will continue to move the football is akin to the difference between a brown nosed and a kiss a$$ and the is depth perception.
The Executive’s job IS TO execute immigration orders. Congress passed law, was he President executes law. He campaigned on ending DACA but he did not. He could have the very day he stepped into office. He did not. Don’t be angry at me if this has become a political snafu. He refused to issue the EO ending DACA now he owns it. It is as it is.
I assure you Cruz’s position is just fine. Also there was nothing to excuse, Moore didn’t do himself any favors. He was a flawed cantidate who wasn’t up to the task. His interview was awful, he refused polygraph during the campaign (his prerogative) and his messaging was elementary at best. Lastly, this isn’t about Cruz. It’s about the failed opportunity of Trump to sign an EO to overturn DACA. That’s all, plain and simple, black and white, end of story
