Read my tweets: There will be no amnesty for Dreamers until I get my border wall AND an end to chain migration Trump harps

Trump firmly rejected a demand from Democrats that he provide amnesty to illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children with no strings attached Says they must fund his border wall and end chain migration or no deal President golfed earlier this week with Sen. David Perdue, co-author of the Senate bill that would shift the U.S. to a skill's-based visa system President Donald Trump firmly rejected a demand from Democrats that he provide amnesty to illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children with no strings attached to the legislation.

Trump said Friday that he will not approve the Dream Act until Democrats agree to fund his border wall and support an overhaul of the federal immigration system.

'The Democrats have been told, and fully understand, that there can be no DACA without the desperately needed WALL at the Southern Border and an END to the horrible Chain Migration & ridiculous Lottery System of Immigration etc. We must protect our Country at all cost!' Trump tweeted.

Why DACA at all? I’ve met some “dreamers,” and I say send every last one of those entitled brats back to their parents’ home countries. I’ve never heard ONE of them ever thank the U.S. for their free education. All they ever say is “Gimme more,” “We’re entitled,” “You’d better,” “or else,” etc. Why do we need them here? Boot them out and let them use the education they got here to improve their parents’ home countries.

just what I was thinking. Republicans need to put the bill on the table and make dems vote against DACA.

He’s going to have to fight McConnell too, because he doesn’t want a wall and he wants DACA.

You actually think so little of President Trumps intelligence and business experience that you think he will be tricked by a bunch of half-wit Democrats?

Seesh.

It doesn’t matter what the deal is for the wall. The Democrats will reject it, so they might as well be seen rejecting a reasonable and generous deal. Let them explain to the “dreamers” why they wouldn’t protect them over funding a structure that practically their entire conference voted for 10-15 years ago. Our superstar president knows he has the leverage here and is going to exploit it.

A wall means a disruption in Democrats’ new voter supply line and their transformation of the country. Immigrants and aliens are their lifeblood. It’s like demanding that they stop breathing in exchange for legalizing this cohort of aliens. They’re getting new citizens every time an alien drops anchor in one of our hospital maternity wards.

I hope he won’t be tricked, but RReagan was tricked in 1986.

I can’t believe FR would agree with DACA in some circumstances. Folks, this board is probably one of the reasons Trump does some of the stuff he does. Stick to the stuff!

Further:

No amnesties until wall is fully funded, 65% complete with most-violated areas fenced and 65% of adult trespassers deported;

Dreamer or DACA amnesty for juvenile entrants only, after full vetting and ID, application for citizenship and sworn oath of allegiance to USA;

Amnesty receivers are immediately deportable for any felony crime.

BINGO!!!!! All he had to do was sign the EO on DAY ONE and all of this would have been completely behind him. This is a problem he owns for allowing it to fester. Art of the schmeal is more like it

You mean like the 'travel' ban? I find your critique of President Trump on the swamp side. DACCA is a Congressional Constitutional duty, which they covertly allowed the progressives to rule via EO's, under Obama. Congressional Republicans are just as dirty on the illegal invasion as any dim libtard. I mean, really now, who will keep those so called 'faith' based charities flush with taxpayers cash.

I thought he wanted Cottons deal and the Wall before any amnesty so what is lthe crap .

Daca will let Millions get amnesty and vote Dem and kill off the USA .
Allowing Amnesty will also destroy him in the 2018 midterms just like Bush did in 2006 which was killed off at the last minute.
The base wants no amnesty at all .
Is he suicidal ?

There was amnesty without enforcement. A border wall was not part of the "one-time" 1986 Amnesty (Simpson-Mazzoli). There were provisions to penalize employers who employed illegals, but it was never enforced.

The amnesty implementation was also fraught with fraud and bogus documentation with phony document mills being set up near the processing centers. The USG estimated that 1 million would apply, but the actual number turned out to be 2.7 million.

The headline is cute and appropriate. If President Trump reneges on this promise, it will be like President Bush with “read my lips, no new taxes.”

However, I have confidence in the President of the United States, for the first time since 1988. I expect Trump to keep his word. If we get a complete wall built, and if we get an end to chain migration and the visa lottery, and if we get efficient deportation of the DACA parents and of all other illegals in our country, then we can decide whether to give a small subset of the criminals some form of legal status that does not include a path to citizenship.

My vote? No Amnesty even then, but at least once the rest of the problem is solves it would be worth reconsidering. Briefly.
