This guy started off looking like a great candidate in the last election. But It did not take long to realize he was on the wrong side of many things. So all I can is No Thanks.

To hear the never cruzers tell it, they want him out now even if that means Beto. Go back and read those 2016 thread.
Wendy Davis would’ve been an acceptable replacement too.

After the beating Roy Moore received in the media, could Cruz be arrogant (vain?) enough to run again? IMHO, He’ll be OK if he does his job as a Senator. But let him try the POTUS thing again, and they’ll hang “Crooked Ted” around his neck, and his political career will be OVER. And he’ll deserve it!

He’ll still be fairly young, but just as ineligible as Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids born in Yemen to an American citizen.

He is not eligible.Nobody's buying this birther crap.
When Ted Cruz, Nikki Haley, or Donald Trump Jr. decide to make a run at it, there will be no legal authority telling them they're not eligible.

This is laugh, but this is Texas Monthly. This rag is mostly read by toffee-nosed lefties in the cities.

If Curz happened to win, the Dems would be filing one lawsuit after another, challenging his eligibility. Same with Rubio and Nikki Haley, two lightweights who won’t have a chance to begin with. They are not worth the immense lawsuits that would follow and most likely will be declared ineligible.

He isn’t running for the Presidency. In recent interviews he has stated that he is glad that he lost as he could not imagine going through what Pres. Trump has endured. Texas Monthly is little more than a slicker version of The Daily Star. In the minds of their editorial staff, Sen. Cruz is second only to Pres. Trump in their fevered, progressive nightmares.

He blew it for me in how he treated Trump in the primaries. I was actually an early supporter of his. No more.

I’m not a Cruz fan and have had the opp to vote for him four
different times. I’ve voted for him once. But imo and I’m
not in Texas now but he’ll win re-election. Beto will win
the democrat strong holds but will lose statewide in the
general. JMO.
