I think Trump will initially recommend that way as well. The political dominos don’t have to go in showily and noisily — especially in the Senate — if they are setting up for more Gorsuches in the USSC. That’s where Trump’s political capital is wisest spent.

I noticed that after Fridays release of damming information on Clinton’s email her defenders were quick to respond with “water under the bridge”.
A 40 year old accusation that can not be proved becomes a fact and a couple of year old evidence of a real federal crime is just water under the bridge.

I predict that in 2018, Joe comes to his senses, is dumped by Mika and is fired by MSNBC. Joe goes on to start his own chain of coffee shacks across the country by 2020. Becomes poster-boy for the Trump Economy during the 2020 landslide.
The hell they didn't. Two, four, and six year terms give people the opportunity to vote out perceived abuses in relatively short order. No one has told Joe that the choir he keeps preaching to is becoming discredited and it is shrinking in self-disgust.
