Huckabee: People 'Are Going to Lose Patience' With Jeff Sessions
Fox News Insider ^ | December 30, 2017

Posted on 12/31/2017 6:06:48 AM PST by SMGFan

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) said "we are all going to lose patience with the attorney general" over his perceived apprehension to prosecute people like Lois Lerner and Peter Strzok.

"I love Jeff Sessions. I think he is a great guy, but he has got to do the job he is there to do," Huckabee said. He said Sessions, a former Alabama senator, must "enforce the law... universally. Without regard to who the person is."

Huckabee said Sessions may be holding off on prosecuting Lerner, the former IRS employee allegedly implicated in the conservative nonprofit targeting scandal, or Strzok, the FBI agent who sent anti-Trump texts to his mistress, because he does not want to be perceived of "partisanship." "[But] this isn't about partisanship, this is about justice," Huckabee said. "This is a dangerous place," he said of allegations against Strzok and Lerner. "This is the kind of thing you see in totalitarian countries where the power of the government is used to step on your political enemies."

There is NO WAY Mike would cause grief for his daughter by saying something CINC didn’t agree with.

Ten million conservatives felt the knife stab deeper when Jeff let Lois walk. Extremely demoralizing for the folks who brung CINC to the dance.

Trey Gowdy....absolutely not. He will be a Sessions on steroids.......US justice in a bigger, deeper ditch.

Gowdy treated Hillary with kid gloves when he had her before his committee.

He wanted her to testify behind closed doors.....her highness wanted a public hearing.

Stupid Gowdy caved into the beast and Hillary came away looking like the Virgin Mary.

No thanks.

No, not Trey Gowdy.

What is wrong with Rudy? What are his major faults? He did a great job of cleaning up NYC as I understand it.

I’m holding out hope that Sessions is playing rope-a-dope.

Let the Deep State/media/rat complex expend itself; give it all the rope it wants. They’ve so much as openly asked President Trump to fire Mueller for an excuse to change the subject away from the Trump/Russia yawner.

So, my fingers are crossed that Sessions has purposely avoided giving them ammunition, that he is holding his fire until he is ready to let loose a broadside of grand jury/special prosecutors after the DOJ OIG issues his damning report next month.

I’m surprised zer0’s and hitlery’s army haven’t started shooting. I do believe Sessions is afraid. This onion will need to be peeled though. The People want indictments of these criminals but one shoe normally follows another shooo ...

I’ve been told that Guiliani’s health prevents him from taking a more prominent role in the administration. Don’t know how true that is, but it repeatedly comes up when his name is mentioned.

I believe Rudy took himself out of the running b/c of health problems.

AG Sessions is methodical. Assuming there are well-documented cases against some of the Dem slime at this time, a few cases against them would be a real nice way to direct the conversation toward their misdeeds.

Personally, I lost all patience with Sessions when he recused himself and left his CIC out to dry.
How President Trump is able to abide Sessions mere presence is beyond comprehension.
I just take note of Bill Mitchell’s tweets that this is all some grand design to actually expose the true guilty parties.
Whatever the case, this has dragged on far too long and must be stopped soon.

I really don’t have any specific recommendations for a new Attorney General. Had high hopes for Rudy Guiliani early on, but gather he suffered a fall and has been in poor health since then. We certainly have not heard anything from Rudy basically since Trump’s Inauguration.

Sessions has been a joke from the beginning. I hope someday we find out exactly what Jeff Sessions problem was.

I think Sessions is blackmailed into submission like most D.C. politicians.

Jeff Sessions is President Trump’s biggest mistake(and the blame lies with the coward Sessions, not Trump)by far.

Let’s pray it is not a fatal one.

Blah blah blah blah!

1) Gowdy did his job he IS NOT a prosecutor but now that you mention it he was actually the most successful prosecutor when he worked as one. He never lost a case. Did you know this?

2) By some magic it’s apparent that you thought with a Democrat House, a Democrat Senate, a Democrat President oh an yes a Democrat AG that by some fleet of magic there was going to be prosecutions. Get real

3) Gowdy did his job AS A CONGRESSMAN. He brought to light TO THE PUBLIC (you know the people he works for?) to the cameras almost everyday and uncovered crimes unheard of plainly for the oublic to see. People around here bitch when congressmen don’t talk to constituents then bitch when they do

4) in fact Gowdy made such a compelling case to the oublic that even a Junior prosecutor fresh out of college could have rendered indictments but oh there that funny # 2 I mentioned above that kept hmgetting in the way.

5) Gowdy isn’t Judge Dredd. I know some around here expected him to interrogate, subpoena, call a grand jury, indict, prosecute, cross examine, render verdict, sentence, transport to prison, process intake then shepherd as warden throughout sentence. He did his job under the constitution. The funny little paper most harp about yet won’t read. He used his constitutional authority up to the point of...there that funny little #2 again above

6) There’s so much evidence uncovered that the present AG has before him (yes Gowdy under his questioning constitutionally uncovered during his hearings) that Sessions could use that would warrant indictments. Yeeees a Republican House a Republican Senate a Republican President and by god a Republican President and HIS AG. President Trumps AG

Fascinating... you are barking up the wrong tree

Rudy G. has declined any cabinet spot. He is going to be 73, has been battling prostate cancer with treatments since age 55 and he has his own successful worldwide security firm to run.

His father died from prostate cancer at age 73.

On January 12, President-elect Trump named Guiliani his informal cyberspace security advisor.

He’s not going to go after anybody on the Left because if he does the media will scream ‘politically motivated witch hunt’, and he doesn’t want to be seen in that light. He was a member of the Senate for gawd sakes. Republicans in that august body are known for wanting to be liked and admired by their ‘friends’ on the Left.
