I respectfully disagree. Politics are part of forming our government. Who is in office matters.
We the people are the government. We must participate.
Thanks for the reply. We respectfully disagree. In my opinion, we have a de facto one party system, a uniparty, that has controlled politics throughout my lifetime. The personalities don’t much matter.
What does matter in my view is how we lead our lives. Do we glorify God? Do we raise our children to be good people? Are we doing the things that the Bible implores us to do? Do we work with others to improve our lot? Do we work hard at our vocation? Are we making the world a better place for those who follow us?
A really smart guy who died a few years back had a very astute observation. He said (and I’m paraphrasing) that politics exists downstream from culture. And it does. If we want to make a positive and lasting impact, we have to work on the culture.
