A 25-year-old man in California has been arrested over an alleged hoax 911 call that led to police killing an unarmed man in Kansas on Thursday night, authorities said.
He deserves prison time.
So does the police officer who came to the home of an innocent, unarmed man and shot him. Gross incompetence can't be an excuse for the killing of a man.

Gross incompetence can't be an excuse for the killing of a man. But that the cop "felt threatened" can be. It's been a sure bet in court.
